This week, C3 Church pastor Phil Pringle chatted with Hope 103.2’s Laura Bennett about advice for new (and seasoned) dads in the lead up to Father’s Day – Sunday 6 September.
1. Be the Priest of Your Family
As the father, you stand before God for your family and be a man of prayer. That is your first priority.
“I have to come before God every day and pray for my family.”

2. Provide Leadership
Creating a habit of taking your family to church regularly so that it’s not a choice on each Sunday that comes around but that it’s your family’s lifestyle.
3. Demonstrate Generosity and Hospitality
Recognise what God has given your family and thank Him by giving back to God what is His, through your church. Also, making your home a place where other people are welcomed and loved through your family.
“Have a house that is like ‘Church’.”
