About Us

Hope Media

Hope 103.2 is Sydney’s Christian community radio station, owned and operated by Hope Media Limited, a not-for-profit Christian media organisation.

Hope Media also operates Inspire Digital, our sister radio station on DAB+, produces podcasts, publishes websites and printed and electronic resources including devotionals.

Our Story

Rev. Vernon Turner started the Christian Broadcasting Association Limited (CBA) in 1953. CBA, which would become Hope Media, produced Christian content from studios located in Five Dock, Sydney. These programs were distributed free to commercial radio stations.

After a 25-year wait CBA was granted an FM licence in 1978, and 2CBA FM started broadcasting in March 1979.

In May 2002 the station, now renamed to FM103.2 – The Heart of Sydney, officially opened its new studios. These were housed in a purpose-built radio facility at Seven Hills in Western Sydney.

FM103.2 became Hope 103.2 in December 2008.
