Kids Camp – Winmalee
For over 50 years North Ryde Christian Church has run a Kids Holiday Camp.
An action-packed week is planned in the Blue Mountains for Years 3-6 including sports, games, swimming, flying fox, campfire, craft, music and Bible stories. It’s an affordable alternative to vacation care at only $330 for the week!

Songs For a New World musical – Eastwood
Running to 17 July! Songs for a New World presents a series of unique characters in different places and different times who all face a moment of decision and change.
This musical by Jason Robert Brown is a collection of carefully crafted story-songs elegantly placed into a cohesive whole, referred to as a ‘song cycle’. In a range of jazz, ballroom and Broadway styles, these stories build a picture of anticipation, loss, uncertainty, perseverance, love and hope – messages and themes that will resonate with and inspire audiences in today’s world. Parental guidance advised, contains mild adult content.

Free Speech Screener – 20 minutes – (12 mths- school aged children) – Blacktown
Meet with a qualified speech pathologist for 20 minutes who will observe your child (12 months – to school-aged) and make a recommendation regarding whether your child will require a full speech assessment and therapy.
This service does not: take the place of ongoing speech therapy or take the place of a full speech pathology assessment. This service does include: recommendations for your child based on their skills, a list of speech pathology services in the local area, and access to additional educational resources.

Wesley School for Seniors – Term 3 launch, 60 courses to choose from!
Wesley School for Seniors offers learning opportunities for people over 55 years old to help them learn new skills and socialise in an environment that is safe and supportive.
There is a diverse range of courses available at Wesley School for Seniors, with 60 great subjects available. Some of the subjects are Knitting, Square Dancing, Yoga, How to Age Well, and many more.
Term 3 enrolments open from Monday 20 June, classes are held Monday to Friday at Wesley Mission’s Wesley Centre in Sydney’s CBD.

There’s fun in the school holidays at Treasure Seekers Program for pre-school and primary school children from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, Monday 11 to Friday 15 July. The program includes games, crafts, Bible stories, morning tea and prizes.
GenYouth Program for high school, tertiary students and above from 2 pm to 4pm, Monday 11 to Friday 15 July. Includes games, short devotion tackling key issues for young people through the lens of the Bible, afternoon tea and prizes.

ONLINE Everyday Peacemaking for Mission and Cross-Cultural Ministry – Zoom
If God has called you to share the good news of Jesus and make disciples in an overseas mission context or an Australian based but cross-cultural environment, you’ll be aware that there are unique challenges – not least, the challenge of responding well to conflicts that arise amongst people with different cultural norms and expectations.

Have you taken care of your Will? For $100 we can help! Most of us don’t think about it often, but having a Will is the simplest way to ensure our loved ones are taken care of when we’ve passed away.
The Salvation Army is hosting a Community Wills Day whereby generous local solicitors prepare simple Wills in exchange for a $100 (or $150 per couple) contribution towards our work to help those facing hardship in our community.
The 30-minute appointment is with a qualified solicitor who will review your instructions, discuss your situation and prepare a simple Will for you. Bookings are essential.
