Hope for the Jogini Girls dinner – Online

By popular demand, we are hosting a third live-streamed ‘Hope for the Jogini Girls’ dinner, with special guest: Marina Prior.

For over 2,000 years, girls have been dedicated as Joginis, and thereafter trapped in ritualised abuse.
Join from the comfort of your home enjoying a meal with your guests. The ministry with some of the most marginalised and abused women in India has advanced remarkably, even in the midst of COVID-19. Hear from our team on the ground, and be encouraged by stories of transformation and hope.

Resources and support will be provided to ensure a memorable evening. This is not a Zoom meeting, but a live-streamed event. More information: www.dfn.org.au/dinners

Facing infertility as a church family (Livestreamed)

Infertility is one of the most difficult challenges couples can face. In any given church, there will be couples who long to conceive, but seem unable. In a time of incredible medical advances and treatments, how should Christians think about wise and godly options? More particularly, what do Christians need to be aware of in the midst of the marketplace of assisted reproductive technologies?

Listen to two leading Christian doctors – Professor Jonathan Morris and Dr Megan Best – on what needs to be considered as Christians seek to face infertility faithfully, whether personally or in support of others in our communities.

Single Minded Conference 2020 – Annandale

Join us for Single Minded 2020: Family Matters, as together we consider

– How Jesus radically challenges our notion of what FAMILY (ultimately) is… and how that ought to impact the way we think about CHURCH.
– What this means for the very important sense in which all single Christians truly BELONG within our church communities… and why their unique presence and gospel partnership is so vital for us all.
– How we might all – single and married – be better equipped to reflect and enact these biblical truths in our church life together.
