2018 CHRISTMAS LIGHT DISPLAY – Castle Hill
Sofia’s Battle presents 2018 Christmas light display in Castle Hill throughout December.
On evenings between Thursday 13 and Thursday 20 December there will be a BBQ, Santa visits, photos, lucky dips and more. (See times below.)
All monies raised will go to Heartkids NSW and the 22q Foundation Australia and New Zealand.
Christmas Lights & Fundraiser – Putney
Come and help our amazing cul-de-sac community of Gregory and Sandra Streets, Putney raise money for the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.
The Christmas lights in our streets are famous locally. So come and enjoy the Christmas Spirit and drop a coin into one of the buckets positioned along the street.
If it were not for the amazing facility that is the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse – celebrating 5 years of serving the community this year – many people in our community would not be celebrating Christmas with us this year.
Christmas Carols at North Epping
The North Epping Community Carols has become one of the most anticipated local events of the year. Last year a bumper crowd gathered to celebrate Christmas together on Epping Athletics Track.
Join us this year for another great free community event. Food and glow-sticks on sale from 6.30 pm. Carol singing from 7 pm. Finishes with fireworks around 9 pm.
Invite your friends, pack your picnic and get there early for a great seat. Then you can sit back, relax on your rug and together we’ll make this a fabulous evening!
Nativity – Windsor
Journey back in time to the streets of Bethlehem where Christmas first began. This unique, live, interactive experience is suitable for all ages. Family tickets $5, individuals $2.
Running time 20 minutes. Sessions from 6.30 pm. Food and beverages available onsite at Cafe Cornerstone.

Christmas Drop and Shop – Spring Farm
Take the stress out of your Christmas shopping – let us look after the kids… for free!
Leave the kids with us to play, do craft and have morning tea (all provided free of charge), while you enjoy up to three hours of kid-free shopping. Drop off from 9 am, final pick up 12 pm. Kids 3–12 years old welcome (must be toilet-trained). Limited places available.
Register online now to secure your spot! All of our leaders and helpers have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Safe Ministry Certificate.
Pop-Up Christmas Market – Jannali
With a variety of stalls, this is a great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done (or something for yourself!) while supporting the farmers who are continuing to do it tough.
Entry by gold coin donation; proceeds to NSW Drought Assistance. Plenty of parking in the Council car park at the rear of the church.
Christmas Fun in the City – Sydney
Christmas Fun in the City is back for a second year, and if you have school-aged children, bring them along to celebrate Christmas with Wesley Mission and the local community. This year, the event will feature:
-A kids’ concert and Christmas carols to sing along to
-A puppet show run by the Bible college-trained staff at Quiz Worx
-Arts and crafts
-Fun games run by Wesley Congregation Life volunteers
-Free party snacks
-A visit from Santa!
Christmas Fun in the City is completely free, funded by our congregations for the community. Join us on to enjoy the Christmas cheer!
Carols Sing-a-long – Abbotsford/Five Dock
Join us for our big Christmas Carols sing-a-long service.
All your favourite carols with a mix of traditional and funky new jazz arrangements, being played by our guitar, bass and piano trio, overlaid with vocal chorus and the refined touches of brass and woodwinds.
Come at 5 pm for sausage sizzle, arts, crafts and jumping castle. The carols start at 7 pm.
Carols by Candlelight – West Pennant Hills
Bring the family and join the festive activities!
Jumping castle, face painting, balloon animals, food and drink stalls, glow sticks, coffee cart, live camels, and heaps more!
Family Festival runs from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm, followed by Carols by Candlelight at 7:45 pm.
Carols By Candlelight – Drummoyne
Bring a picnic blanket, enjoy a sausage sizzle or pack a picnic.
Free kids’ activities from 5.30 pm – kids’ craft, face painting, nativity photo booth.
Carols start at 7pm. Candles and glow sticks available for a gold coin donation. Kids are welcome to dress up as shepherds or angels.
Carols in the Park and Family Fun Time – Kurrajong
This Christmas event is open to everyone. The family fun time begins at 6 pm and there’ll be a jumping castle, plus face painting, kids’ craft, gozleme, steak and sausage sandwiches, and tea and coffee. There will also be glow sticks.
Carols begin at 7:45 pm.
Christmas Carols at the Church – Blaxland
Join us for an evening of song and Christmas fun to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Kids (of all ages!) can dress up as a Christmas story character – the program includes special items for children.
A light supper is provided afterwards. It’s a lovely, relaxed way to connect at Christmas – we hope you can join us.
Community Carols – Douglas Park
Our Annual Community Carols event is supported by Wollondilly Shire Council.
There will be a free sausage sizzle, drinks, face painting, jumping castle, games, gifts and so much more.
Come along for a fun community event and enjoy celebrating the Christmas season together singing Carols.
Carols on the lawn of All Saints Parramatta
Join us to sing carols in the grounds of All Saints Church accompanied by the Parramatta Salvation Army Band.
The evening begins at 6.30 pm with a Sausage Sizzle for a gold coin donation.
Then at 7 pm there will be familiar Carols on the lawn.
Bring your own snacks, chairs and a blanket if you wish.
Chairs and Carol song sheets will be provided.
Family Christmas Carol Extravaganza & Fair Trade Expo – Chatswood

Combined Churches Family Festival – Regents Park
Regents Park Combined Churches Family Festival is a celebration of Christmas for our local community.
There will be food, amusements, rides, a farmyard nursery, face-painting and general fun for everyone.
Come and join in with us, bring your family and picnic blanket and enjoy items from local schools and churches, ending with a fireworks display.
Community Party and Carols – North Sydney
Come along to the annual free Community Party with rides such as a bucking reindeer(!) and Shetland ponies, activities (face painting, jumping castle, slide, children’s craft) and refreshments.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have a wonderful afternoon in the beautiful grounds of St Thomas Church, leading to a family Carol service in the historic church at 6 pm. Bring family, friends and neighbours.
The Christmas Xperience – Sadleir
Join us at St Marks to visit 1st century Bethlehem and celebrate Christmas! There will be crafts, a jumping castle, donkey and pony rides and activities for all ages.
Children can meet angels, shepherds, wise men, villagers, Mary, Joseph and even King Herod! The event will be followed by a BBQ, lucky door prize draw and carols by glow stick.
The entire event, including food and activities is FREE! We can’t wait to see you there!
Twilight Outdoor Markets – Beaumont Hills
Come and have some fun with the whole family! There will be jumping castles, pony rides, food trucks, live music and a great mix of stalls. The summer market schedule is below.
There will be Christmas-themed markets and a special guest – Santa Claus! The kids will love meeting the jolly man himself and you will get to take home photos of the special moment for the family album.
You’ll be able to find unique Christmas gifts for the whole family and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Think Christmas lights, jingle bells and loads of tinsel!
West Pennant Hills Community Church Community Christmas Party
West Pennant Hills Community Church is holding a Community Christmas Party .
There’ll be free sausage sizzle, jumping castle, face painting, crafts for the kids, bubble corner for the little ones, slushies and cakes.
The North Rocks Rural Fire Service will be there. Carols commence at 6 pm. We invite you to come and join the fun.
Christmas Carols and Family Festival – Vineyard
From 4:30pm – Outdoor Festival with fun for the whole family! FREE rides, delicious food, face painting and more!
5:30pm – Indoor Carols Service. Come inside and join us for a Christmas celebration filled with sing-along carols, prizes and a whole lot of fun for everyone!
The Christmas festival will recommence outside after the carols service and there will be a chance to have your photo with Santa and enjoy the FREE rides!
Lights of Love – Regents Park
Join us this Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Pastor Chris Lee will be speaking the word, ‘Light of Love’ (1 John 4:10), then there will be live performances, door prizes, activities and a big Christmas feast for all to enjoy.
We also have a Kid’s program for your little ones to enjoy too. We welcome you to invite your friends and family, to come along and celebrate this season of love, joy and peace, together as one big family.
Doors open at 4:30 pm, with service to start at 5 pm.
Carols – Parc Menai
You’re invited to be part of Urban Life Church’s Christmas Carols at Parc Menai. It will be a fun night with a BBQ sausage sizzle and drinks available. Including a coffee cart!
And for the kids, there will be face painting, an animal contact zoo, jumping castle, glow sticks and a visit from Santa! So bring your picnic rugs and chairs, Christmas cheer and singing voices!
