Social Justice Night – Parramatta
You are invited to the first Social Justice Night of 2019! Everyone has a right to a home and together we can help to make this a reality. The night will include hearing from expert speakers on homelessness, developing our knowledge through experiential games, discussing ideas and brainstorming actions over a shared meal.

Money Matters with David Sietsma: Money matters – if you have it or you don’t, what you do with it, and how you feel about it. It can divide us from each other and from God. David has helped manage money for banks with billions and for students with hundreds. He will help us think through what the Bible says, and how Christians can avoid unnecessary debt, save wisely, and give generously as we navigate a money-obsessed world.

Inaburra School Fete and Open Day – Bangor
The Inaburra Fete fundraiser is coordinated by the Inaburra Parents & Friends Association and runs concurrently with Open Day. Browse from a variety of pop-up market stalls selling take-home food, fashion, jewellery and homewares. For thrift shoppers there is the Bargain Lane, for book lovers, Billa Books. Enjoy a High Tea, BBQ, Silent Auction, show bags, amusement rides and more.

Rwanda 2019 Trivia Fundraising Night – Kareela
Love trivia or love a good cause? Join us and see, while raising money, that our 2019 Rwanda team will take to help Fruits of Hope Academy and community in Rwanda’s capital Kigali.
Our team is travelling in late May for two weeks and will provide medical checks to students and teachers, basic first-aid training to parents, encouraging the sewing school and pastors of the local community and teach basic sewing to students.
This will be our 11th trip to serve in Rwanda. Dinner included. Please RSVP by Monday 25 March.

Volunteer – Operation: Aid a Seafarer – Millers Point
What do your computer, mobile phone, clothing and car have in common? They are all imported by sea, along with 98% of goods used by each of us every day.
Facts about the crew of these ships:
– they are on contracts of 9+ months
– no reasonable communication facilities on board ships, hence they are isolated from loved ones for extended periods
– they frequently come from countries with little Christian witness
The Mission to Seafarers ministers by providing:
– onboard visitation
– free transport to our centre, free WiFi, distribute Bibles & Christian literature

– if you are compassionate, have IT experience or LR Licence – volunteer and assist a seafarer today

The Art and Science of Spiritual Care (for nurses) – Marsfield
This course was developed by Nurses Christian Fellowship International and is designed to provide practicing nurses with the science of spiritual care. It provides nurses with skills to assess and address spiritual concerns for patients in a variety of settings and for patients coming from various religious/spiritual beliefs and backgrounds.
It is a practical, interactive and current course which has been taught both overseas and in Australia. It attracts 8 CPD hours. Nurses and midwives of all ages and stages are very welcome.

An open day to celebrate the history of St Bartholomew’s, which was built in 1841. Guest Speaker at 10 am talking about the history of the Church and Cemetery, cemetery records for family history research, self guided cemetery tours, demonstration of grave conservation, local historical society’s trade stalls, variety and refreshment stalls.
Town Crier, NSW Corp of Marines and Wandering Minstrels to entertain visitors. Council representatives will explain about new cemetery expansion.

Autism and Me – Randwick
Autism & Me is a conference which gives our young people on the autism spectrum the stage. It’s about giving our young people living with autism a platform and a voice. Just because they may have some difficulty speaking, doesn’t mean they have nothing to say.
It’s an opportunity for the community to come and listen to our young people share with us their hopes and dreams; to have a glimpse into their lives, and to come together to celebrate their achievements.

Church Event: Fresh Talks – Westmead
Fresh talk is a series of dialogue sessions to help answer hard and confronting questions about God, Life and Mankind. This is achieved in the light of Christian world view and through the strong foundation in the Word of God.
Fresh Talks Series are organised throughout the year with a minimum of two speakers to present the agreed topics followed by a Q&A session for 30 minutes.

Kurrajong Anglican Church 150th anniversary celebrations – Kurrajong
Kurrajong village in the Hawkesbury Valley celebrates the 150th anniversary of its St Stephen’s church building with a big party. Celebrations start at the 10 am service attended by Anglican Archbishop of Sydney, Glenn Davies.
From noon check out historic farm machinery, classic cars, Rural Fire Service gear and local orchard produce. Listen to live music, including Barker College’s jazz band and choir. Enjoy good food including a Devonshire tea on the rectory lawns. Join cemetery tours. Hear older parishioners tell what life was like in the Hawkesbury in the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s.
Also, face painting, games, a jumping castle, animal-contact zoo, and an Easter hat-making workshop.
Church Event: Wollondilly Peoples Praise – Picton
Wollondilly Peoples Praise is a Sunday afternoon program when people of all faiths gather together for praise and worship by singing their favourite hymns and choruses. Easter is the theme for our first program for 2019.
Returning as guest artists are popular Neville Quarmby, trombone, and Glenda Quarmby, piano.
Singing commences at 2:30. At the conclusion join us for a cuppa and fellowship.

KYCK #1 – Katoomba
KYCK is a conference for high schoolers held over 3 huge weekends in the Blue Mountains when 6,000 youth will gather to hear God speak in His Word. In 2019, we’ll be looking at The Gospel of John. This is weekend #1.
At KYCK we take Jesus seriously, we take the Bible seriously and we take holiness of life seriously. Our hope is that as teenagers gather at KYCK, they will be impacted to follow Jesus in such a way that they look to eternity rather than wasting their lives on the temporal things of this world.

Billy Cart Decorating and Activity days – Rouse Hill
This is a great school holiday activity for younger children who may not be old enough to compete in our Billy Cart derby (to be held on 28 April).
There will be Billy Carts available to decorate; place a brightly painted hand print on a cart and write your name underneath. See your cart competing on derby day. Try out one of our Billy Carts at walking pace on a safe course adjacent to the decorating area. Or enter the colouring competition.
There is no charge for any of the activities.
