Walk For Nicole – Sylvania Waters

In October 2020, we lost our beautiful sister to Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. This July, my brother and I will be walking for 12 hours to raise money to fund research and help the families battling. You are invited to join us.

We walked last year, but this year has a lot more meaning. We ask for donations to help those who are battling, as well as support on the day, whether that be through food trucks, coffee vans, and sponsorship. Last year we had over 100 people there, and this year, we hope to have more.

Please see the website for more details.

Learning to forgive – Newtown

The most liberating truth of the Christian life is that our sins have been forgiven. But one of the most difficult challenges of the Christian life is forgiving others as we have been forgiven. Does forgiving mean forgetting? If we forgive, must we still trust?

At this event, Kanishka Raffel, Anglican Archbishop of Sydney, and Philip Kern, Head of New Testament at Moore College, will lead us through what the Bible teaches about forgiveness and how we might in wisdom learn to forgive those who have sinned against us.

Reaching Everyday People – West Hoxton

How do we build diverse unified churches that can reach all people in our community?

This year at Reaching Everyday People, we will workshop 1 Corinthians 12 and hear from those seeking to put it into practice. We pray this will help us better cultivate unity between different social and ethnic groups in our churches so that we might reach all people in our communities.

Jesus prayed, in John 17:20–23, that the church would be united so that the world would know Jesus. Will you join us this year?
