We all know teenageres can be impulsive, but sometimes risky behaviour goes beyond the normal teenage ups and downs.  Risky behaviour includes things like binge drinking, drug use, self-harm, sexual promiscuity and other antisocial behaviour.

While it can be tempting to focus on the behaviour only, the deeper issue may be unresolved emotional problems.

This week Collett Smart continues our series on teen parenting with a look at risky behaviour, using binge drinking as a case study.  She explains why some kids are more at risk than others and what parents can do to help their kids through the turbulent teen years.
