Should You Vaccinate Your Child?

Last year, Aussie Mum Toni McCaffery lost her 4 week old daughter, Dana, to whooping cough. Since that time she’s been swept up in a debate about vaccination and has been targetted by anti-vaccination campaigners.

The Health Care Complaints Commission has spent a year investigating the Australian Vaccination Network and has issued a formal warning that some of the information they distribute could be inaccurate, particulary information that claims whooping cough is not fatal.

Toni McCaffery believes that it’s good to debate the pros and cons of vaccination, but she also wants to make sure parents know that whooping cough can be deadly.
