Protecting Children:

This week is Child Protection Week and this weekend Catholic Churches across Australia will fly white balloons to support Bravehearts White Balloon Day.

Hetty Johnston is the founder of Bravehearts, the only charity exclusively dedicated to combating child sexual assault.  With 20% of children being victims of child sexual assault, it’s an issue that our churches and our communities need to talk about.

She talked to Katrina Roe about her personal story and also ideas for how parents can protect their children.
