It’s a tricky time for parents when kids bring home their school reports.

If a child does brilliantly then parents want to affirm their achievements without giving the impression that their love and approval are dependent on good results.

If the report is not so good, then how do you encourage the struggling child to do better, while still recognising their other gifts outside of school?
