2.  LEGO DIMENSIONS WORKSHOP

The Australian Children’s Laureate Leigh Hobbs will hold drawing workshops and will be there to sign purchased books. The stunning Shakespeare Room will be open all day and make sure you head to the Amaze Gallery to view Shakespeare’s first collection of works (published in 1623) known as the First Folio along with other extraordinary Elizabethan-inspired objects from the Library’s rich collections.

7. BMX COME AND TRY DAY

BMX racing is a fun sport that the whole family can participate. It is a highly regarded Olympic sport. There are no age limits and you can start from as little as 2 years old on a balance bike (mini wheeler)! You can learn more about the sport and your local club by going along to the BMX Day. All you need is long pants, long sleeve top, enclosed shoes, full face helmet (club can provide for the day) full enclosed cloves (club can provide for the day) and your bike. It will be a fun filled day that the whole family including a free sausage sizzle for all to enjoy. There will be professional coaches and riders of all ages to help you with bike setup or any enquiry that you may have.
