But these devices are power hungry, it’s become a nightly ritual to charge my phone before hitting the bed. In the old days my phone only required charging a couple times a week.
On my weekly chat with Aaron & Dan I shared some battery saving tips that you might find helpful from The New York Times.
1. Turn down your LCD screen’s brightness
2. Lower the music volume
3. When you’re not using Bluetooth or Wireless turn off those features.
4. Consider turning off the phone’s 3G network. It will make Web access slower but won’t affect phone call quality.
5. Mobile smartphones can check for e-mail messages and instant messages automatically. Set up your phone to check for messages manually or increase the time interval your phone checks for emails.
6. Simplest way to cut power to a minimum is to put your smartphone into “airplane mode”
