MacKillop – The Musical

With the canonisation of Mary MacKillop in October, there’s been renewed interest in this determined woman of faith.

In the coming weeks you’ll see newspaper articles, documentaries and even a musical telling the story of Mary MacKillop’s life and faith.

Joanna Cole plays Mary MacKillop in the new stage show.  As a seasoned performer, Joanna is used to playing iconic Australian women – she played Lindy Chamberlain in the Opera Australia production Lindy.

Joanna has a special connection with Mary MacKillop’s life and work and sees Mary MacKillop is a spiritual role model for all Australians.
