Throughout his career songwriter Evan Craft has worked to bridge the divide between American and South American culture. As a teenager he learned Spanish to better communicate with the homeless in his hometown of Los Angeles, and now he uses it to reach more communities through music.

In 2021, Evan released the equivalent of four albums with Desperado and Holy Ground recorded in Spanish and English and, for the first time, getting Australian radio-play with the hit single Be Alright – an anthem calling people toward hope.

On the latest episode of UNDISTRACTED Evan speaks about cultural integration, singleness, the obstacles toward unity and where hope comes from when our circumstances don’t change.

“There’s not always a rational behind why things happen,” Evan said.

“Even saying, ‘everything will be alright’ [is about] ‘God if you’re with me I’ll be alright. If you’re not with me, I can’t last another day’.

“We’re alright because God is with us.”
