A Chat with Country Singer and 2017 ‘The Voice’ Winner Judah Kelly

Being paraded onstage by his Christian grandma in New Zealand to sing for her church at age three; gigging from the age of 10; and working in the shadows for years as a backing vocalist at country music festivals, are all on his resume. It’s a lifetime of performing that’s got him to where he is.

After his first album Count On Me with its hit title track featuring on the Hope 103.2 playlist, Judah’s just released his second album, one that he’s been working on for a solid year. Breakfast host Duncan caught up with Judah to hear about his musical foundations, his favourite artists, and why he’s shaping himself as a country singer.
