About OneSydney
“The Body of Christ has been divided for too long. Scripture reminds all Christians of both the duty and the beauty of pursuing unity – so that the world would know that the Father sent His Son, Jesus,” the official OneSydney website states.
“OneSydney is a historic gathering where Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, and Non-denominational Christians set aside their differences to worship together at the iconic Sydney Opera House.”
As well as international and Australian artists, representatives from more than 55 Christian denominations and institutions – archbishops, bishops and senior Christian leaders – will stand shoulder to shoulder with political and community leaders including the NSW Premier, the Governor-General and former Prime Ministers. Families, youth and the next generation of Christian leadership will gather in person, with national and international audiences joining through broadcast and digital platforms.
