One in 4 Australians are currently living in financial distress, according to new research.

Cost of living is absolutely skyrocketing and, as a result, many are finding it harder to budget effectively.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) CEO Rosie Kendall spoke to Hope Drive about how to decrease short-term living costs, budgeting effectively and how to get support if you’re under financial stress.

CAP is also searching for volunteer mentors to walk alongside those who are struggling with finances – assisting in creating budgets and having candid conversations about money. No professional financial expertise is needed, and all training, support and resources will be provided by CAP. For more information, visit their website.
