When Queensland mum Kim McKosker announced at a BBQ that she wanted to write a cookbook using only four ingredients, the party fell silent and she knew she was onto a good idea.
Unfortunately, the publishers of Australia didn’t think so. After being told the book would never be successful, she went on to self-publish the book with one of her oldest friends.
Since then 4 Ingredients has become the biggest ever self-published title in Australia and was the best-selling book for 2008.
