A Family in Paris – Jane Paech

Have you ever dreamed of packing up your life and heading overseas to start again in a whole new location?

Well that’s exactly what Jane Paech did.  She moved with her family to Paris and at first it was one big holiday adventure.  But it didn’t take long for some challenges to emerge.  Like the fact that their apartment wasn’t fitted with a kitchen and they had to find all the components in French – which she didn’t speak.  Then there were the challenges of her kids adapting to the French education system, which doesn’t include the concept of fun or play.  Not to mention the fact that, like a good wine, friendships with French women age extremely slowly.
