After two years hosting Hope Mornings, Emma Mullings is stepping away from the studio to spend time raising her third baby, a little girl due in early 2017.

In her farewell video Emma thanked her 400,000 strong audience for tuning in and being part of the fun every weekday morning.

“I’ve had an absolute ball and I’ve loved getting your calls and emails,” she said.

Emma added that the highlight of her time on the Mornings show was the Vision Sisters Mums 4 Bubs event in September, where she met 70 of her listeners and joined them in packing clean birthing kits for women in some of the world’s poorest countries.

The event left Emma with an added advantage: “I still have the sample birthing kit from the event on my desk, so if I go into labour early while I’m still at work, we are all sorted,” she joked.

Today was Emma’s last day on the Mornings show (Friday, November 9) and she will still be heard on weekends up until her final day at work at the end of December.
