What happens when Christians from every tradition, culture, and generation gather under one roof to worship together? Philip Ryall believes something miraculous takes place.

“The reality is that, when we come together, a miracle begins to happen,” he said.

On 14 June the Sydney Opera House is set to become a place of worship, unity, and celebration as OneSydney brings people together from all walks of Christian faith. It’s all about connection, reconciliation, and lifting up the name of Jesus in the heart of our city.

Philip Ryall from Harvest Journeys is behind the vision, and he’s passionate about seeing believers come together as one, putting aside differences and focusing on what unites us. It’s shaping up to be a powerful night of faith, hope, and community in one of the most iconic locations in the world.

“I don’t know whether this has been done before,” Philip said.

“We’re calling it a historical celebration and why would you not want to be under that roof?”

Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, and Non-denominational Christians will come together in one of the most iconic venues in the world, not to debate their differences, but to celebrate what they share

The night will weave together contemporary and traditional expressions of worship in an atmosphere shaped by creativity, honour, and joy. Different cultures, different generations, different denomination, all coming together for one unforgettable celebration of unity.

And the venue itself carries its own significance.

“Why the Opera House? Well, it’s a house, but on 14 June it becomes a church,” Philip said.

If you’ve ever longed to see the Church in Sydney stand together as one, this is the night.
