This year marks the 12th season of The Voice Australia with the top four finalists battling it out to for the top spot – the winner to be revealed on Sunday night.

Contestants first belt out auditions in the hope of turning a chair for the judges. If successful, they pick a judge to be their mentor and begin their Voice journey. One contestant who has given us some incredible moments this season and finished as coach Rita’s final artist is Tarryn Stokes and she joined Hope Brekky to chat about the whole experience.

Tarryn talked to the team about her faith and how her experience singing in churches has played a part in her Voice journey.

“I’ve always loved singing and always had a passion to continue to sing,” she said.

“I know who I am, and who I’m doing this for.”

The finale of The Voice Australia airs on Sunday 8 October on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
