This is one of my favourite recipes!

The gluten and dairy free, high protein and nutrient dense Tuna Tabouli Salad is suitable during detox and weight loss programs as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flat leaf parsley
  • chopped 1/2 cup mint
  • chopped 250g halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1 red onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 x 185g tin tuna
  • Pinch ground cumin
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp good quality olive oil
  • Sea salt & ground pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and enjoy as a main or a side salad.
