Asthma Week 2022 runs between September 1-7, to promote awareness of asthma to the general population and highlight ways to help people manage asthma.

Winter is a pesky time for those who suffer from asthma. The cold weather can cause coughing fits, irritation and breathing issues – as can woodfire heaters. 

Asthma Australia CEO Michele Goldman spoke to Hope Drive about the dangers of woodfire heaters in cities, how asthma sufferers can manage their condition in winter and the signs to look out for during an asthma attack.
