But journalists have to be across it all, holding the government to account and translating public health information into a format that audiences can make sense of and apply to their daily lives. And their mental health is suffering as a result.
Charlotte Mortlock has been a reporter and anchor for Sky News for the last six years. She has covered COVID day in, day out since the beginning of the pandemic and has spent more time with NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, than her own mum.
