Mental illness, although becoming more talked about, still holds a lot of stigma – especially conditions that are highly misunderstood, like bipolar.

Bipolar Australia is working to change that – with the World Bipolar Day Community Festival, coming to Sydney this Sunday.

Bipolar Australia Founder and Executive Director Susana Bluwol joined Hope Drive to discuss what bipolar is, the common misconceptions and what people can expect at the festival.

The World Bipolar Day Community Festival is being held at the University of Technology, Ultimo on Sunday 26 March. Register here to reserve your free ticket.
