How important is it that we brush twice a day and floss?

When we only get one set of adult teeth to look after, how well are you looking after yours? For healthy teeth and gums, Dr Mikaela Chinotti from the Australian Dental Association it’s important to make sure we’re booking in regular dentist check ups so they can detect any problem early on.

This Dental Health Week, Dr Mikaela Chinotti joined Hope Nights to share how we can look after our teeth better, to keep them strong and pearly white longer.

“Eating a diet that is low in sugar, so ideal less than six teaspoons of sugar per day – that’s actually a recommendation from the World Health Organization,” Dr Chinotti said.
