One of the most defining moments of our contemporary culture to date are the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the USA.

Countless lives were directly effected in New York, and for every one of us it has meant living in a society with tighter security restrictions, changed laws, and a very pertinent awareness of terror.

As we marked the 10 year anniversary of these events on Sunday, Leigh Hatcher was joined on Open House by former Prime Minister John Howard, who was in Washington at the time.
