The Work of Hope 103.2 Impacting People with God’s Love

Hope 103.2 is community-funded media with a mission:

To impact people with experiences of God’s love so that they may become more like Christ and the world more like the Kingdom.

When you give a gift to Hope 103.2, you are supporting more than what you hear on-air – you are financially supporting a multimedia organisation trying to bring a message of hope, and connect communities in that one hope, to the people of Sydney and further thanks to ever-growing digital spaces.

The work of Hope 103.2

Here are a number of ways Hope 103.2 works to impact people with experiences of God’s love…

Hope for Everyone Mobile Header
To keep a vital voice of hope resonating throughout our city and the world, today and into the future, takes a united effort – an effort that will reap great reward for you, your family, friends and the communities you live and work in, in this challenging time in history.

Music and shows

Shows and music

Hope 103.2 offers a mix of mainstream and contemporary Christian music that is uplifting and family-friendly. Our shows such as Hope Breakfast, Mornings, Afternoons and Drive present fun, helpful and informative content in a safe-listening environment so that you finish each day feeling encouraged.

If you’re looking for a more reflective Christian space of music and messages to live by, then Inspire by Hope 103.2 is for you!

There’s also FRESH – playing the best new music discoveries and next generation of Christian artists – and Christmas Hope, which plays (you guessed it!) 100 per cent of the Christmas hits you know and love.

hope1032.com.au and Hope 103.2 app

Right here on hope1032.com.au, we host our four Stations – Hope 103.2, Inspire by Hope 103.2, FRESH and Christmas Hope – plus the stories that mainstream media don’t cover such as the in-depth look into the faith behind Sydney’s Abdallah family, how volunteer chaplains responded to victims of bushfires and floods, and the faith of the Queen. We also focus on campaigns to activate community generosity such as Hope in Action: Supporting Community, Back to Business and Kickstart Your Career – the latter two borne out of a desire to meaningfully contribute to pandemic recovery efforts – and resources to strengthen your faith and inspire hope like our Easter and Christmas packages.

On our app, we highlight the things you’ve told us you love the most – the latest music, podcasts, news and stories.

Practical support

Hope and Prayer 2024

We, at Hope 103.2, strongly believe in faith in action, and one of the ways we feel we can practically support and journey with you through all seasons of life is through prayer. It has the potential to transform people and culture and the ability to unite communities and build hope, regardless of circumstances. We also encourage you to connect with a local church and have our Church Directory available to find one nearest you.

Other practical support includes our Community Noticeboard service that helps churches and not-for-profit community groups promote their upcoming events for free, and highlighting reputable counselling services and helplines if you’re struggling and need to talk to someone.

The Hope Collective

the hope collective hero image

Each year, we come across so many amazing organisations, businesses and individuals who just want a way to help – especially in times of crisis. So, Hope 103.2 wanted to find a way to be a catalyst for those who are looking for ways to give to reach those in our community in need and launched The Hope Collective that has already seen huge community generosity efforts such as the Kids to Camp appeal – sending children from drought-ravaged NSW regional towns to Scripture Union camps – and Volkswurst’s German food truck catering a COVID-safe street party and, more recently, feeding Nepean Cancer Care Centre.

Events

For King and Country Australian tour 2019

Who else is going to support bringing Christian bands like For King & Country and Rend Collective to Sydney other than your very own Christian community station Hope 103.2? We love to help host and promote great faith-centred and community outreach events from Hillsong Church’s Colour Conference and Blacktown carols to primary school Christmas markets and faith-movie screenings.
