Sometimes life doesn’t always go to plan, and you find yourself needing a helping hand.
This month, Hope 103.2 is partnering with Parramatta Mission for Socks & Jocks, to help people experiencing homelessness, and support people fleeing domestic or family violence across Sydney.
Last year, through the Winter Woolies appeal Hopeland collected over 100+ boxes of winter clothing and blankets. This year Parramatta Misson have told us the greatest need is for the basics – Socks & Jocks. Basics like socks and underwear are one of the most requested items and are rarely donated.
How Can I Help?
Donate NEW socks or underwear, in all shapes and sizes! For men, women and children.
If you have the capacity to donate more, below is a list of items we can collect during Socks & Jocks
- Basic shoes – thongs, slip on sandals
Toiletries – travel size bathroom products like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel or deodorant
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste for normal and sensitive teeth
- Nappies – for babies & toddlers, as well as baby wipes and baby powder
