“You Can Only Cut a Budget So Much” – Anglicare’s Teresa Clark Sheds Light on Food Crisis

I recently read an article that revealed kids have been hiding their hunger from their parents. Due to the skyrocketing cost of groceries, they knew that their parents were struggling to afford enough food and didn’t want to cause them extra worry.

As difficult as that was to read, that is the reality for an increasing number of families facing food insecurity across the country, due to the cost-of-living crisis.

As prices continue to surge, demand for food assistance programs has followed. Anglicare’s Head of Food and Financial Assistance Teresa Clark joined Hope Drive to shed more light on the hardships communities and charities like Anglicare are facing.
