Towards Understanding is a full-length feature interview radio program premiering on Hope 103.2 at 9pm this Sunday. Hosted by Clayton Bjelan, the program features conversations with people in three key groups – those who are ‘Known’, those who are ‘Ordinary’ and those who are ‘Overcomers’.
As host and renowned broadcaster Clayton Bjelan asks the difficult questions, these stories are sure to inspire and challenge us all.
As the largest Christian radio show in Australia and New Zealand, the show is centered on living out our Christian faith.
Towards Understanding features interviews with a diverse mix of people:
The Known
From Prime Ministers to sports stars, musicians and former mafia bosses, Towards Understanding aims to find out the truth of who these personalities are and what can be learned from their experiences, particularly when it comes to those who live out their faith and trials in the public space.
The Overcomer
Towards Understanding refuses to gloss over difficult topics and instead talks with survivors whose stories help us all to see that there is always hope, no matter how dire a situation may be. Clayton talks with people who have overcome seemingly impossible situations, to eventually find hope and forgiveness.
The Ordinary
There is incredible power found in the stories of ‘ordinary’ people who are willing to be vulnerable about their life and struggles. Whether they’ve overcome addiction, are working towards changing the world or giving a voice to the voiceless, these stories – and their passion – are contagious.
