Starring as the Son of God in The Mark Drama, a play version of the gospel of Mark, actor James Squire shared what it’s been like to play Jesus on stage.

Recently performed at his church – Grace Anglican in Camden Valley, NSW – The Mark Drama creatively brings the life, death and resurrection of Jesus to modern crowds.

James spoke with Hope Mornings about how playing Jesus has had a massive impact upon his own faith but he hopes The Mark Drama would fully fired up the faith of everyone who went along to watch the biblical story acted out.

Listen to the full conversation with James in the player above.

About The Mark Drama

“Many people these days are not interested in reading the Bible. They think that it is irrelevant, old-fashioned, or unreliable. Dusting off the old book, the Mark Drama turns Mark’s biographical account of Jesus into a 90 minute, fast-paced, theatre-in-the-round stage production.”
