I still remember the night that Adam Liaw won Season 2 of MasterChef Australia, back in 2010. His victory was the most watched non-sporting event on Australian TV since ratings began.
Since then, Adam has been a stalwart of the Australian food industry – travelling the world, filming cooking shows, writing books, recipes and newspaper columns. Today, he can add podcaster to his impressive resume with the release of an Audible Original podcast – How Taste Changed the World.
Adam joined Hope Drive to discuss how to make nightly dinner taste better, how to make cutting raw chicken a more enjoyable endeavour and, perhaps most importantly, revealing if soaking a pan overnight actually helps with the cleaning process.

Adam Liaw’s Audible Original podcast, How Tastes Changed the World, is free for Audible members and can be found at audible.com.au/taste. On June 1, Adam will be taking part in Vivid Sydney’s Ideas Exchange with Audible Live: Stories Made to be Heard, during which he’ll discuss the podcast in further detail.
