12 Christmas songs to set the Christmas vibes…
We’ll pulled together a mix of mainstream and Christian hits for you to enjoy.
1. All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey has been the Christmas classic since its 1994 release. It’s just poppy and happy, and a perfect way to start every Christmas season. Also, you can’t avoid the song during Christmas so it’s best to embrace it.
2. We Three Kings by Dolly Parton. The queen of country covers this song in a sweetly simple way relying on her stunning voice and the deep emotion that comes through in every note to great effect.
3. Merry Christmas by Elton John and Ed Sheeran is a brand new Christmas song that is set to be a classic. Music legends Elton John and Ed Sheeran teamed up to create a heartwarming and sweet Christmas song. Containing a few nods to the worldwide shared experience of how tough the last few years have been, reminiscent of the World War references in some of our favourite Christmas Song classics.
4. It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas by Michael Bublé is one of his most classic songs and, well, it’s not really the Christmas season until Michael Bublé makes an appearance right!?
5. Winter Wonderland by Jamie Cullum. Returning to his Jazz roots, Jamie Cullum isn’t reinventing the wheel with this cover, focusing on quality rather than reinvention. This level of quality manages to make the song feel both new and fresh while remaining nostalgic, invoking all those classic Christmas images that bring warm and fuzzy feelings. Bonus Song Suggestion: In the Bleak Midwinter, Jamie Cullum.
6. Mary’s Boy Child by Harry Balafonte was released in 1956 and is still perfect for Christmas playlists today. Classic for a reason and a must for any Christmas playlist.

8. O Come, O Come, Emmanuel by Lauren Daigle is a stunning version of the song full of emotion from a singer whose voice rings true and clear.
9. God Rest Ye by Cody Fry is fun, whimsical and surprising as it takes you on a musical roller coaster. This Grammy nominated composer has a lovely Christmas album but this song is by far the most fun. Check out his TikTok, CodyFryMusic, for a fun little snippet of We Three Kings to the tune of Somebody I Used To Know.
10. Christmastime by Norah Jones is a sweet, fun song with a beautiful message. Christmas is the time of year for pop jazz artists to shine and this song from Norah Jones truly shines.
11. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing by Celtic Women sung live at The Helix in Dublin this rendition stuns with its quiet beauty and power.
12. Silent Night by Penatonix is one of the best Christmas songs from a group known for spectacular reimagined accapella versions of Christmas Songs.
