After 15 years, our drive presenter Ray Kington is unplugging his headphones and saying goodbye to Hope 103.2.

But it won’t be the end of radio for Ray, as he plans to take on a new challenge as the general manager at Fine Music Sydney.

“I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of Hopeland, talking to our incredible listeners, for a long time now,” Ray said.

“What a wonderful opportunity to work each day for Him and to serve the community in such positive way.

“Through prayerful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that now is a good time to let someone else take on the Drive show, and to take all I have learnt in 23 years of broadcasting to use my love of radio to help others be their best on-air and to follow my new journey in radio – behind the scenes.”

Ray is the longest-serving drive announcer in Hope 103.2’s history. He has performed many behind-the-scenes roles including stints as music director and podcast producer. Ray also hosted the first two seasons of Hope 103.2’s Raising Teens podcast with psychologist and qualified teacher Collet Smart.

Hope 103.2 will say goodbye to Ray during his last Drive show this Thursday, May 27.
