As part of their trip to Nepal to promote the CBM Miracles Day appeal, they’ve been learning about local life, visiting Biratnagar Eye Hospital, and having a lot of fun and games: including their famed Everest Challenge.

While Dan bragged about his plans to conquer the feared mountain, listeners fretted – fearing that he’d do serious damage while trying to follow in the footsteps of Edmund Hillary and Bear Grylls.

In the end, Laura fulfilled her promise with a light aircraft flight over the Himalayas. The view of the gargantuan Everest peeking above the clouds (see the video below) is breathtaking.
