She was the first female NSW Premier, and now Kristina Keneally has taken that pioneering spirit to India, where she acts as an Ambassador for Opportunity International.

On Sunday night she spoke on Open House from India, where she has seen many inspirational projects transforming the lives of people trapped in poverty.

Here she speaks with Leigh Hatcher all about the projects, as well as the transition from being Premier to becoming an ambassador.
