Back in April we spoke to one very intrepid amateur pilot, Ken Evers. Ken was preparing to fly around the world in a single engine airplane, with his mate Tim Pryse to raise awareness and funds in the flight against Malaria.

The trip is called Millions Against Malaria and when they finish, Ken and Tim will have burnt nearly 14,000 Litres of Avgas and will make the record books as the first people to fly around the world in an all-Australian aircraft.
