Hope 103.2’s original 6am Bible Study presenter Rev. Arthur Deane died last week at the age of 92.

A public Thanskgiving Service will be held 2.30pm Sunday 11 January 2015:

Arthur Deane at the invitation of former Hope 103.2 (2CBA FM) CEO Rev. Vernon Turner presented the very popular morning 6am Bible Studies from 1980 to the late 1990’s.

Arthur died at home on Friday 2 January. He was married to Phyllis who had died 11 years earlier. Rev. Arthur Deane ministry contributed significantly to the lives of people across denominations. Some of his ministry highlights include:

– Vice Principal and then Principal of the Sydney Missionary and Bible Collge (1959 – 1974)
– Youth Director of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney
– Minister at St. Paul’s Castle Hill
– International Director of the Africa Evangelical Fellowship
