Best of Sydney – Top 4 Dog Parks

Who let the dogs out? Hopefully it won’t be a problem at these parks because, well…it’s a dog park, so you can let them out. If you are looking for a place to walk man’s best friend, we’ve got the list for you and your furry best friend, as voted by Hopeland!

Rowland Reserve, Bayview

This dog park features a 24hr doggy beach, which is puppy fantastic. A sheltered bay means there isn’t any waves, and there is a whole lot of fish for your dog to chase. There’s a wide open field and plenty of other dogs to play with when summertime kicks into full swing. Plenty of bins for those doggy bombs, and some clean drinking water if they get thirsty.

Rushcutters Bay Park

Plenty of wide open spaces here for your pooch to stretch its legs. A pretty little foreshore walkway and a kiosk for a coffee. Rushcutters has plenty of amenities, but be aware that tdogs are only allowed off leash between 3:30pm and 10:30am. Other times they are permitted but must be on a leash.

Warrigal Run Dog Park, Doonside

Warrigal Run Dog Park is part of the massive Bungarribee Parklands area. It’s got a huge space for your dog to let loose and run all day long. There are bags for your dog in case of an emergency and a shaded zone if you want to escape the sun.

Carina Bay Reserve, Como

Carina Bay Reserve has a couple of locations set aside for the doggies to run. The added bonus at this park is you can also bring your horse for a walk! Shaded areas and water are also available, giving your dog plenty to do and horses to see! But be aware, it isn’t completely fenced.

Bonus One! Clontarf Dog Beach

Clontarf has a little doggy bay that at low tide provides ample room for you dog to have a swim in the bay and a run on the sand. Parking can get tricky on busy days and the doggy bags for poop are a long way away, but this is still a fun little space for your dog to make some new friends.
