Eddie Woo is the Teacher You Hope Your Kids Get

Eddie’s classroom has gone beyond the school grounds of Cherrybrook Technology High SchooI. In 2012, one of Eddie’s students was undergoing cancer treatment so he began uploading videos of his lessons to YouTube so that his student could keep up.

He created ‘Wootube‘ and since then, Eddie has gained a following of more than 600,000 subscribers and his videos have been viewed more than 34 million times.

In 2018, Eddie was named Australia’s Local Hero of the Year and shortlisted as one of the top 10 teachers in the world.

Eddie joined Hope Breakfast’s Sam & Duncan and shared his views on homework, why Maths is magical, and how to begin your teaching career well.

His new book is called Eddie Woo’s Magical Maths.
