Amazing People – Emily Miers: A 10-Hour Swim in the Open Sea, in Memory of Her Sister

Departing in the dead of night, Emily managed to cross the Channel in ten hours and fifty-one minutes, in support of the Children’s Cancer Institute.

Emily lost her older sister Sarah to a brain tumour in 1997, and shared with Sam and Duncan why raising awareness and funds through a swim like this was so important to her family.
