There are so many different popular images of Jesus, but which is the right one? Popular images of Jesus vary, and the picture we have of him matters, as our chats with Michael Frost over the next few weeks will show.
This week we begin our Re-Jesus series on Open House by talking about how can we Re-Jesus our minds—peeling back the images and pictures we’ve built up in our minds to see the real Jesus of history and the Bible.
Michael is the director of The Tinsley Institute—a training centre for pastors and missionaries—and the latest of his many books is Re-Jesus: A Wild Messiah for a Missional Church, co-authored with Alan Hirsch. He believes we need to restore a true understanding of the life, message and mission of Jesus to our lives and churches.
