Pilgrimage: A Young Man’s Journey of Discovery

Christian George is a man with an insatiable appetite for travel. Not just any kind of travel though – he’s hooked on a thing called “pilgrimage”.

Since he was a boy, this author has been criss-crossing the globe in a quest to deepen his Christian faith. From an Irish Abbey, to a German concentration camp, from Nagasaki to St Peters Basilica in Rome.

These are just some of the places the young pilgrim has been. But Christian George maintains that pilgrimage can happen just as easily in your hometown.

He’s written a book about his journeys, called Sacred Travels and he spoke with Open House presenter Sheridan Voysey.
