Good morning,
I’m here to spend some time with God together with you on this week of Christmas.
How great it is to stop and remember God’s love for us expressed in the ultimate gift, Jesus Christ. Do you know God loves you so much that you will never fully comprehend His love for you.
That’s what the Bible says, that we can know the love of God which surpasses knowledge. We can know in experience what we can never understand, the magnitude of God’s love for us.
Have you accepted that God loves you, then there’s nothing more important to you than building a meaningful relationship with the Lord.
So I encourage you to make sure that time with God has first place in your life. We are looking this week at this theme of God’s ultimate gifts to us. Do you know that God was thinking of you and caring for you long before you were even born?
As he saw you out of his timeless eternity.
In Psalm 139, the psalmist writes, Where can I go from your spirit, or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there your hand will lead me and your right hand will lay hold of me. If I say, surely the darkness will overwhelm me and the light around me will be night.

Well, even the darkness is not dark to you, and the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to you, for you formed my inward parts. You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, and my soul knows it very well.
And he goes on to talk more about God’s plan for you from long before you were ever born.
God knew you before you were born.
Thousands of years before you were born. Jesus Christ died on the cross, and He already knew about your life, about all the sins and failures in your life, about how much you would need His death on the cross to make a way for you to be right with God.
To begin to build a relationship with God as His child, and he chose to go to the cross for you. He knew you. He loved you. He died for the sins He knew you would commit. What an incredible gift Jesus’ death on the cross is for us.
How foolish we would be to take it for granted and forget the significance of it. Never forget your Christian life. Your relationship with God is not just something that everybody has. They don’t. God has reached into your life. He’s revealed Himself to you, drawn you to Himself. You’ve put your faith in Him.
To as many as received him, he gave the right to become children of God. The Bible says, what an amazing, amazing gift God has given you, even from before you were born.
