Flooded Fields at Forbes and a Surprise Christmas Gift

Standing in a paddock smashed by flooding, NSW and ACT Baptist Churches Director of Ministries Steve Bartlett was shocked by what he saw around him. 

Recently visiting the Central West of New South Wales, Steve witnessed first-hand the devastation of intense flooding upon rural communities such as Forbes.

But as he told Hope Mornings, the impact upon livelihoods was sadly to be expected.

What Steve did not see coming was how the riches of Christmas meaning struck him in a landscape apparently drained of hope.
