To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis is a time-travel adventure set mostly in the Victorian era. It has elements of sci-fi, history and romantic comedy, and references Jerome K Jerome’s travelogue Three Men in a Boat.

Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl is a Holocaust survivor’s account. Written in 1946, it has sold over 10 million copies and been named one of the ten most influential books in America. The author was a psychiatrist who spent time in four concentration camps including Auschwitz.

And Katrina brings one of her favourite books to the table – The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society written by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows in 2008. It’s recently been made into a movie starring everybody’s favourite period actress, Lily James.
