Let’s face it, they’re radio announcers, not Eurovision-slaying, chart-topping, international pop stars.
So when Hope Breakfast duo Sam and Duncan were asked to sing a tune with Dami Im at her show on Saturday night, they were a little terrified… and even more terrified, when their listeners voted Katy Perry’s Roar as the winning song (be grateful guys, it’s better than I Say A Little Prayer for You).
So, armed with their kangaroo and koala onesies, their dancing shoes and their best Katy Perry voices, they tried their darndest. How’d they do? You be the judge!
They sang in front of a packed house at Castle Hill RSL, as part of a charity concert presented by Dami for Compassion Australia. The support act was the Youtube pop duo sensation, Janice and Sonia Lee of Jayesslee.
