Stay-At-Home-Dad’s Super Funny Year Of Dubsmash Videos

It took him nearly a year to make, but Eric has finally unveiled the funny videos he’s been making with his infant son while his wife was away at work.

Using the mobile app Dubsmash, Eric turned his everyday interactions with baby Jack into a hilarious series of videos featuring over dubs from songs, movies, tv commercials and more. Even the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s famous ‘Crikey’ line was featured.

“His mum [Priscilla] would be away working at the Opera or a wedding [as a hair and make-up artist] and I’d be taking care of him. It was a thing we did on opposite schedules.”

Friends and family of the couple began asking for more videos after Priscilla posted one of their Adele Dubsmash videos to Facebook, “people started asking for more and more,” said Bruce. “She and I worked to patch them all together one night. It just took off and it’s been unreal. I’m so glad everyone’s enjoying it.”

The video has clocked up over a million views so far, so no doubt we’ll see a few more copycat dad videos appearing on YouTube soon.
