NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian is downplaying suggestions Sydney’s COVID-19 lockdown could run until mid-September.

Stay-at-home orders are due to expire on Friday night but are likely to be extended following record case numbers over the weekend.

Ms Berejiklian said they’re considering the situation day-to-day.
