Patrons of the Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club are being urged to check if they need to self isolate after a second worker tested positive to coronavirus.

A COVID-19 health alert has been issued for a Catholic Club in Sydney’s West. Those who attended between Friday 7 August and Monday 10 August during various lunchtime and dinnertime sittings have been told they are now considered a close contact of those two cases and must self-isolate for two weeks and get a test – even if the test returns a negative result they must stay home for 14 days.

Another staff member at Liverpool Hospital has been diagnosed with the virus.

Police are investigating the Tangara School for Girls in Sydney’s north-west over whether there have been any COVID-19 breaches.

Twenty cases of coronavirus are now linked to the school.
