A global surge of prayer is happening right now.

Leading up to Pentecost Sunday on June 5, a time of dedicated prayer has been called by Thy Kingdom Come movement, and you and your Christian community can be part of it.

Started seven years ago out of the Anglican Church in England, Thy Kingdom Come has spread to about 171 countries, including Australia and New Zealand.

Emma Buchan is Project Director of Thy Kingdom Come. She told Hope Mornings this annual encouragement to targeted prayer was only expected to envelope the United Kingdom.

But the appeal of Thy Kingdom Come spread beyond national borders. As Emma explained, people across the world wanted to join in and ask God to bring more and more into his eternal kingdom.
